Roman Catholic Diocese of Legazpi

The Diocese of Legazpi (Latin: Dioecesis Legazpiensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Legazpi City.

History

The Diocese of Legazpi was posted on June 29, 1951 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quo in Republica Filipina out of territory of the Archdiocese of Caceres and this is a suffragan. On May 27, 1974, the Diocese of Legazpi were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Virac.

The Diocese of Legazpi includes the province of Albay.
