Roman Catholic Diocese of Malacca-Johor
The Diocese of Melaka - Johor (Latin: Dioecesis Melakanus - Giohoranus ) is a located in Malaysia Roman Catholic diocese based in Johor Bahru. It includes the located in the southwest states of Malaysia Malacca and Johor.
History
The Diocese of Melaka - Johor was on 18 December 1972 by Pope Paul VI. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Malacca - Singapore as the Diocese of Malacca - Johor and the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur is a suffragan. On May 27, 1985, the Diocese of Malacca - Johor diocese was renamed Melaka - Johor.
