The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur (Latin: Archidioecesis Kuala Lumpurensis ) is a located in Malaysia Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Kuala Lumpur.

History

The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur was born on February 25, 1955 by Pope Pius XII. out of territory of the Archdiocese of Malacca erected as a diocese of Kuala Lumpur. It was the Archdiocese of Malacca is a suffragan. On 18 December 1972, the diocese was Kuala Lumpur by Pope Paul VI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Spe certa to an archbishopric.
