Roman Catholic Diocese of Penang
The Diocese of Penang (Latin: Dioecesis Pinangensis ) is a located in Malaysia Roman Catholic diocese based in Georgetown. It includes the states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Kelantan and Perak in north-west Malaysia.
History
The Diocese of Penang was born on February 25, 1955 by Pope Pius XII. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Malacca. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.
