Roman Catholic Diocese of Rotterdam

The diocese of Rotterdam (Latin: Dioecesis Roterodamensis, Dutch:. Bisdom Rotterdam) is one of the seven Roman Catholic dioceses of the Dutch church province. In the diocese of Rotterdam in 2006 were about 531,000 Catholics registered ( 15.0 % of the total population) of which an average of 36 640 (or about 1.0 % of the total population) attend church on Sunday.

The diocese of Rotterdam was re-established by cessions of territory of the diocese of Haarlem on 16 July 1955.
