Roman Catholic Diocese of San Andrés Tuxtla

The Diocese of San Andrés Tuxtla (Latin: Sancti Andreae Dioecesis de Tuxtla, Spanish: diócesis de San Andrés Tuxtla ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic diocese based in San Andrés Tuxtla.

History

The Diocese of San Andrés Tuxtla was on 23 May 1959, Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quibus Christianized from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Veracruz- Jalapa and of the Diocese of Tehuantepec and the Archdiocese of Veracruz- Jalapa is a suffragan.

On 9 June 1962, the Diocese of San Andrés Tuxtla were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Populorum bono Diocese of Veracruz. Another area assignment was on 14 March 1984 to the founding of the Apostolic Constitution Plane conscii erected Diocese of Coatzacoalcos.
