The Diocese of Sault Sainte Marie (Latin: Sanctae Mariae Dioecesis Ormensis ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic diocese based in Sault Sainte Marie.
History
The Diocese of Sault Sainte Marie was established on September 16, 1904 by Pope Pius X made cessions of territory of the Diocese of Peterborough and the Archdiocese of Kingston is a suffragan. On 29 April 1972, the Diocese of Sault Sainte Marie were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Fort William.
