Romanian Episcopal Conference
The Romanian Bishops' Conference (Romanian: Română Conferinţa Episcopală ) is the permanent assembly of Catholic bishops in Romania. The Bishops' Conference has its headquarters in Bucharest, she is a member of the Council of European Bishops' Conferences ( CCEE) and appoint a representative to the Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Community ( COMECE).
President of the Romanian Bishops' Conference is Ioan Robu, Archbishop and Metropolitan of Bucharest. Significant members are:
- Lucian Mureşan, Major Archbishop and head of the Romanian Uniate Rome Catholic Church
- György Miklós Jakubinyi, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Alba Iulia in Romania and Apostolic Administrator for the Armenians
The other bishops ( Diözeseanbischöfe, auxiliary bishops and bishops emeritus ) represented the Latin and Romanian rite.
