Romela Begaj

Romela Begaj ( born November 2, 1986 in Tirana) is an Albanian weightlifter.

Career

Romela Begaj participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she was able to win the sixth rank in the category up to 58 kg with a total capacity of 216 kg; same duel power enough yet at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012 to 11th place

She won the silver medal at the 2008 European Championship in the category up to 58 kg with a total capacity of 212 kg. In 2009, she was third in the category up to 58 kg with a capacity of 207 kg, again at the European Championships 2010 in Minsk second with a duel performance of 207 kg ( = 96 kg 111 kg ). In 2012, she won the silver medal at the European Championships in Antalya with a duel capacity of 215 kg again ( = 102 kg 113 kg ) behind the same power, but 360 g lighter Boyanka Kostova of Azerbaijan. The 102 kg account for the European title in the snatch dar. At the European Weightlifting Championships in 2011 she had remained without a valid attempt.
