Doping cases
A total of seven athletes tested positive during the 2010 European Championships. Among them were five medal winners. The two athletes from Azerbaijan, Rowschan Fatullayev and Zülfügar Süleymanov were blocked by the IMF in April 2014. For the three Belarusian lifter Andrei Aramnau, Mikalai Chernyak and Shemshat Tuliayeva, no penalty has been imposed yet (January 2011), but they have already been deleted from the official results. In addition, Boyan Poleyanov from Bulgaria and Marina Ohman from Israel were getest positive. For them locks to 2014 have already been imposed.
