2012 European Weightlifting Championships

The European Weightlifting Championships were held in 2012 to 16 April 2012 in Antalya, Turkey on 6 April 2012. It was the 91st European Championships for men and the 25th European Women's Championship. There were medals in 15 weight classes ( eight for men and seven for women), awarded, each in the snatch, jerk and duel. Antalya and Turkey was the second time hosted the Weightlifting European Championships after 2002.

The most successful nation, Russia was followed by Azerbaijan and Turkey, both in the duel won medals, as with all gained medals. With Valentin Hristov ( AZE ) managed only one man to win all three titles in his weight class. For women, succeeded with Marzena Karpińska (POL ), Cristina Iovu ( MDA), Sibel Simsek (TUR ), Oksana Sliwenko (RUS ) and Tatjana Kaschirina (RUS ) is equal to five athletes.
