Rosička (Jindřichův Hradec District)

Rosička ( German Rositschka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 15 km north of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Rosička is located in the southern part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands at the mouth of the creek Hladovský creek in the Direnský. To the south rises the 692 m high Najdecké Čihadlo.

Neighboring towns are Mnich in the north, Nový Mnich in the northeast, Hladov and Nový Bozdechov in the east, Horni Radouň the southeast, Najdek in the south, Světce the southwest, Brezina in the west and Drunče in the northwest.

History

Was first mentioned in documents belonging to the reign of Hradec village in 1358th In the 16th century it came to the castle rule Choustník and then became part of the possessions of the rule Cervena Lhota. After the replacement of patrimonial Rosička received its independence in 1848. At that time belonged to Anno Vice Rosička.

1870 lived 270 people in Rosička. After 1945, the population was reduced to 66 and connected Anno vice to the immediately next location Drunče. In 1975 the annexation to Deštná. Since 1992 Rosička is an independent municipality again.
