Ross Fisher

Ross Fisher ( born November 22, 1980 in Ascot ) is an English professional golfer on the European Tour.

Career

Fisher was taken at the age of three years by his stepfather to the game of golf and trained at the exclusive Wentworth Club, which he is still. In 2003 he won the Finnish Amateur Open Championship and was the following year professional golfer.

About the Challenge Tour and the Tour School Fisher qualified for the European Tour from the 2006 season, which he finished 66th on the money list. In 2007 his first tournament victory at the KLM Open in Holland succeeded and a year later he won the highly doped European Open at The London Golf Club. 2009 Fisher won at the Volvo World Match Play Championship and finished the season ranked 4th in the Race to Dubai, the new annual ranking of the European Tour.

Fisher is married to his wife Joanne since 2007 and lives with her ​​and his daughter Eve (* 2009) in Cheam, Greater London.
