The Rosskopf is a 1,580 meter high mountain in Mangfallgebirge in Upper Bavaria. It is located in the southern district of Miesbach exactly on the border between the municipalities of Schliersee in the east and Rottach -Egern in the west, which forms the watershed between Schliersee and Tegernsee here. Other surveys on this line are Stümpfling, floor cutting and Rinner pointed to the north and redhead and Stolzenberg south. On the grassy summit crest of Roßkopfs there is a cross on the summit.

The mountain is climbed by hikers in summer and autumn, in the winter of ski touring. A few meters below the summit ends the 2-seater chairlift to the ski resort Spitzing. From there, you simply pass the peak to be climbed. About the Grünseeabfahrt can be traversed in the Valepp.
