Rozseč nad Kunštátem

Rozseč nad Kunštátem ( German Rose sealed whether Kunstadt, formerly Ross Adige ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers north-west of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Rozseč nad Kunštátem is located in the mountains of the upper Svratka, a part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands, in the source basin of the creek Rozsečský creek. The village lies on the border between the natural parks Halasovo Kunštátsko and Svratecká hornatina. By Rozseč nad Kunštátem leads the state road I/19. To the north of the Kamperk (Comb Mountain, 640 m) and Kocholík rise ( 651 m), in the south of Kulíšek ( 692 m), southwest of the Třešinka ( 651 m) and west of the Horničí (701 m).

Neighboring towns are Rozsíčka in the north, Sulíkov and Petrov in the northeast, Rudka and Makov the east, Sychotín and Touboř the southeast, Hluboké u Kunštátu and Tasovice in the south, Josefov, Žalov and Hodonín in the southwest, Ctyri Dvory Prosetín and Louka in the west and Křtěnov and Crhov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Rosec took place in 1350, the village sold as Jenec of Lomnice to Smil of Kunštát. 1374 wrote Heralt of Kunštát the goods in Makov, Sulíkov, Ustup, Rudka, Petrov, Rozsíčka and shares of Zbraslavec, Touboř, Sychotín and Rosec his wife Jitka as dowry to. 1406 inherited their sons and Jiří Heralt of Kunštát possession. After the abolition of patrimonial Rozec formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. 1882, the construction of the road from Kunstat on Makov after Rozseč. In the same year the municipalities Rozec and Makov jointly bought the former local court in Rozec and converted it to the schoolhouse. The volunteer fire department was founded in 1884. Towards the end of the 19th century, the church bore the name Rosec and from 1910 Rozseč. In the 1930s, an extension to the city name to the addition nad Kunštátem. With the beginning of 1961 Rozseč was assigned nad Kunštátem the Okres Blansko. For field work 1981 217 denarii were found, the oldest was a term coined in 1300 Prague groschen, the youngest date from the time of Wenceslas IV. In 1979, the nursery school. In the school of Rozseč nad Kunštátem today the classes are taught 1-5. After the 6th class is taught in Olešnice or Kunstat. Since 2005, the municipality performs a coat of arms and banners.

Sons and daughters of the town
