Rozsíčka

Rozsíčka ( German Rositschka, formerly Rossiczka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers east of Olešnice and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Rozsíčka is located in the mountains of the upper Svratka, a part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands, on a plateau which slopes steeply to the valley of Křetínka to the northeast. The village lies in the source basin of the creek Rozsičký creek. To the north of the Zelenkův raise Kopec (666 m) and Špilberk ( Spielberg, 653 m), in the southeastern Kocholík ( 651 m ) southwest of the Hradisko ( 635 m) and west of the Kamperk (Comb Mountain, 640 m).

Neighboring towns are Ustup, Horni Poříčí and Prostřední Poříčí in the north, Křetín in the northeast, Vranová and Vřesice in the east, Sulíkov and Petrov in the southeast, Makov, Rozseč nad Kunštátem and Josefov in the south, Louka, Loucký Dvůr and Crhov in the southwest and Olešnice in the West.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1374 as part of the Kunstadt. In the mid-16th century Rozsíčka was subservient to the rule Lysice. From 1666 the town belonged to Gutsherrschaft Drnovice and from 1728 to the mid-19th century to turn Lysice. In 1790, 205 people lived in Rozsíčka. 1833 was the construction of the road from Olešnice about Rozsíčka, Sulíkov and Rudka after Kunstat.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rosička formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Boskovice. The volunteer fire department was founded in 1884. In 1894 the school was inaugurated, was previously teaching in Olešnice. In 1900 the village had 331 inhabitants, in 1960 there were 215 in 1925, the church bears the name Rozsíčka. With the beginning of 1961 Rozsíčka was assigned to the Okres Blansko and also incorporated Ustup. 1980 consisted of 69 houses and Rozsíčka had 198 inhabitants. By 1990 the number of permanent -residential buildings at 39 and the population dropped to 169 between 1990 and 1993 Rozsíčka was a district of Olešnice. Since 1994, the community is Rozsíčka again. In the census of 2001, the municipality had 165 inhabitants. School location is now Sulíkov for elementary school students and beyond, Olešnice.
