The district Rūjiena ( Rūjienas novads ) is located in the north of Latvia in the Kurzeme region.

Communities

The district consists of the city and the communities Rūjiena Ipiķi, Jeri, Lode and Vilpulka. 2010, reported 6144 inhabitants.
