Rukiye Yıldırım

Rukiye Yıldırım ( born February 12, 1991, Ankara) is a Turkish Taekwondo. It starts in the lightest weight category up to 46 kg.

Yıldırım came with eleven years for Taekwondo and starts for the club since Kanka Taekwondo Spor Kulübünde in her hometown. Trained it is of Hızır Pınaroğlu. Yıldırım since 2007 takes part in international junior competitions. In the adult area, she made her debut at the 2009 World Championships in Copenhagen, where she could reach the knockout stages in the class up to 46 kg. The following year, Yıldırım ventured into the international forefront. First, it was European Junior Champion in Kharkiv, later she won in St. Petersburg in the adult area at the European Championships their first title. In 2011, she was able to build on their successes. In Gyeongju, she moved with a quarter-final success against Carolena Carstens in the World Cup semi-finals and won their first World Championship medal in Shenzhen they also fought his way to the silver medal at the Universiade. At the European Championships 2012 in Manchester Yıldırım won bronze with another Championship medal, they only lost in the semifinals Ioanna Koutsou scarce.
