Rush Peak

The 5094 meter high peak Rush is a mountain peak in the Karakoram mountain range in Central Asia. It is located in Gilgit -Baltistan in northern Pakistan.

The summit is located on a ridge between the Hispar valley in the north and the valley of the Hoper Glacier and its tributaries Barpu and Sumayar Bar Glacier in the south. This ridge rises from the mouth of Hoper Valley in the Hisper valley to the west and reaches in the unnamed peak 6294 its greatest height. Southeastern neighbor is for a saddle of the 7070 meter high Spantik.

The Rush Peak is relatively easy to climb as a trekking peak in the summer months and therefore is not for professional climbers of interest, the ascent via the Barpu Glacier on the south side. A few meters below the summit of the highest mountain lake in Pakistan, the Rush Lake to 4,694 meters, the already remarkable views to the south on Miar Peak ( 6824 m), Miar Glacier and Phuparash Peak ( 6574 m ) and the Malubiting offers. From the mountains of the Peak Rush Hispar Muztagh on the north, and the Ultar Sar in the west and Diran and Rakaposhi are visible in the southwest.
