Rusty Zinn

Rusty tin ( * 1970 in Long Beach, California) is an American blues guitarist.

Life

He was introduced by his brother with the Blues, who, when he was fifteen years old, records by Muddy Waters and Howlin 'Wolf played him. But even before he heard plates from the Rhythm and Blue collection of his Mutter.Mit seventeen years began Rusty Zinn playing the guitar, influenced with the style of Jimmy Rogers, Eddie Taylor, Robert Lockwood Jr. him and Luther Tucker. Tucker was a central figure for his career, when he invited tin, to jam with him at a gig in Santa Cruz. Tucker was so impressed with tin enthusiasm and intensity that he took him under his wing.

Tin soon made ​​a name for himself as a member of various blues bands from the Bay Area. He played because of its growing reputation for touring blues greats such as Snooky Pryor and Jimmy Rogers. Later he played with Mark Hummel, the harmonica player. In one of the many appearances he met Kim Wilson who invited him in Austin during the recording of his CD " Tigerman " to be there. Tin was also guitarist for the band that put together Wilson and impressed him by the maturity that tin reached at an early age. In 1996, Wilson tin to Black Top Records, for whom he recorded two critically acclaimed albums and the audience. Since then he has been touring a lot and has performed at major blues festivals such as The Monterey Jazz Festival, The Long Beach Blues Festival, Blues by the Bay and The Russian River Blues Festival.
