Ruth McDevitt
Ruth Thane McDevitt (born 13 September 1895 in Coldwater, Michigan, † May 27, 1976 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.
Life
Ruth McDevitt was born Ruth Thane Shoecraft. She studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Then she married Patrick McDevitt and made her acting ambitions in favor of their marriage. However, when he died in 1934, she began playing the theater again. From the early 1950s, she began to establish itself as a supporting actress on TV. She plays later, among others, in films such as The Parent Trap announce The birds and the road of evil.
