Rychówko

Rychówko ( German Klein Reichow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural community Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki.

Geographical location

Rychówko located ten kilometers south-west of Białogard and can be reached on a side street about Stanomino. Until 1945, the United Reichow was the next station on the narrow-gauge railway line Belgard- Rarfin.

History

Small Reichow was an old feud of the Podewils. In 1732, it consisted of four shares, so that the owners changed frequently. 1782 was Carl Ernst von Gröben owners, and on the basis of a cabinet decree of King Frederick William III. was born on May 14, 1803 Daniel Ziemer the owner. His family owned the 300 -acre estate until 1945.

In 1865 151 people lived in small Reichow, which consisted of 14 houses, a school building and 19 outbuildings.

By the year 1928 the manor and peasant village small Reichow was an independent municipality. This independence was lost when the site was incorporated into the smaller community Schinz.

In 1939, Klein Reichow counted 200 residents. The place belonged to the district of Belgard ( Persante ) and was in the official and the civil registry district Standemin. District court district was Belgard. Last mayor before 1945 was Erich Beilfuß.

Red Army troops marched into small Reichow on March 3, 1945. In the fall of 1945, the expulsion of the indigenous population began. Small Reichow became part of Poland and is now considered Rychówko a district of the rural community Białogard.

Church

Parish

Small Reichow formed with large Reichow ( Rychowo ) until 1945 an independent parish, which belonged as a daughter church to the parish Standemin. The Rectory, however, stood in Belgard, where a pastoral district in the parish gave into it.

The church belonged to the Church of the Church Province of Pomerania Belgard county in the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union. The church patronage for small Reichow exercised the landowner families Ziemer and Beilfuß, for large Reichow the family Holtzendorff in Podewils. From 1937 to 1945, the pastorate was vacant, and the parish was served by Standemin Rarfin from.

Today Rychówko lies in the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church. Parish seat is Białogard.

Village Church

The church in small Reichow was a massive building dates from the year 1857., You stood on the site of an old, dilapidated wooden church from 1608. Yet it has been barely a hundred years, because in 1945 it was demolished along with the organ.

School

Already in 1865, Klein Reichow had its own school building, which was equipped as well.

Remarkable

In July of 1935 stone bat discovered in the forest near small Reichow several burial mounds from the time of the Germanic conquest in Pomerania about 1400 to 1200 BC. These tombs are recognized as important tools the first time in German Pomerania.
