Rytmihäiriö (German arrhythmia) is a Finnish band from Helsinki. Their style of music that the members themselves describe as " Surmacore ", is a mix of hardcore and thrash metal, with older material is punk - heavy, newer more goes towards Metal. The texts are in Finnish and deal with murders that were mostly popular with homeless fusel Gambina committed under the influence of alcohol.

Band History

Rytmihäiriö was founded in autumn 1988 by the friends Kalle Ellilä, Ande Kiiski and Otto Luotonen. As Riku Pääkkönen 1990, the label Spinefarm Records founded Rytmihäiriö was the first band that was signed. In 1991 the first album Surman havinaa siipien. After several ine -up changes, the band broke up in 1992.

1998, Ande, Otto and at the time of dissolution active singer Godfather came together again and let Rytmihäiriö rise again. The line-up was supplemented by Janne Perttilä (Live member Moonsorrow ) on guitar. 2002 Pate left the band and was replaced by Unto Helo, who is also known as an actor in Finland.

In the following years the band released with smaller distributors, among others, a second album with title Saatana on Herra and a split CD with Chaos Breed. The breakthrough, however, until 2006, when Rytmihäiriö at the label Sakara Records, which was founded in 2003 by members of the band Mokoma, signed. The published in the same year album Seitsemän Surman Siunausliitto rose to number 36 of the Finnish album charts. In November 2006, the band toured together with Mokoma and Stam1na by Finland. It was at Nosturi in Helsinki, recorded in Teatria in Oulu and Seinäjoki Rytmikorjaamo in a DVD that was released in May 2007. The resulting coupled- seven singles, all held on the Finnish singles chart in the tenth week of spring 2007.

On 27 February 2008 the fourth album Sarvet, Sorkat, Salatieteet, which debuted at number 10 in the Finnish album charts appeared. In February 2010, work began recording its fifth album Surmantuoja, which was released on May 12, 2010.
