Ryutaro Matsumoto (Japanese松本 隆 太郎, Ryutaro Matsumoto, born January 16, 1986 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a Japanese wrestler.
Matsumoto comes from Chiyoda. He is trained in his club Gunma Yakult Takumi Adachi. After the eighth in the weight class up to 60 kg is at the Wrestling World Championships 2008 in Herning in Greco -Roman style, he won the silver medal in 2010 in Moscow in the same weight class. In London he won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
