The Saarland Hurricanes are an American football team from Saarbrücken.
History
The Saarland Hurricanes emerged in 1996 from a merger of the two football clubs Dillingen Steel Hawks (from 1984-1989: Dillingen Hurricanes ) and Saarbrücken wolves (from 1989 to 1991: Saarbrücken Ghostbusters ). Already 1989, a third football club, the Saarlouis Wolves, a game their operation. The former players were incorporated into the Dillingen hurricanes.
