Sacrament (Band)

Sacrament is an American Christian thrash metal band from Folcroft, Pennsylvania, which was founded in 1989 and disbanded again in 1994.

History

The band was founded in 1989. Already in 1990, followed the debut album Testemony of Apocalypse on REX Records. Then guitarist Mike DiDonato left the band and was replaced by singer Mike Torane Rob Wolfe. In 1992, the second album Haunts of Violence joined on REX Records on. In 1994, the band broke up. DiDonato later founded with bassist Erik Ney Sacrament Believer and drummer Joe Daub the band Fountain of Tears.

Style

The band plays heavy Thrash Metal, which is comparable to the music of bands like Dark Angel and Forbidden. The lyrics are consistently dominated religious.
