Saint-Eloy, Finistère

Saint -Eloy ( Breton Sant - Alar ) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in the west with 216 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The municipality is situated approximately 10 kilometers (km ) east of the Atlantic coast near the Bay of Brest. It is located in the Regional Natural Park of Armorica (French Parc naturel régional d' Armorica ). Brest located 26 km north-west, 40 km south Quimper and Paris, about 480 kilometers east (all figures in a straight line ).

Infrastructure

The next departures are at Hanvec and Daoulas on the highway E 60 (Brest - Nantes), in Landerneau there is another on the E 50 (Brest - Rennes).

In Landerneau a regional railway station is on the railway line Brest - Rennes -Brest and Nantes. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris.

Close to the capital city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
