Sandy Moger

Sandy Moger ( born March 21, 1969 in 100 Mile House, British Columbia ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who in his active period from 1986 to 2007 included for the Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League, as well as the Krefeld penguins played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. He has completed the HC Val Pusteria in the Italian Serie A1 his career.

Career

Sandy Moger began his career as a hockey player with the Vernon Lakers of the Canadian Junior Football League British Columbia Hockey League, then he spent another season at the Yorkton Terriers in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League before it from 1988 to 1992 for the crew of the Lake Superior State University aground. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1989 in the ninth round as the 176th overall player of the Vancouver Canucks, for whom he never played, however. Instead, the attacker was from 1992 to 1994 for Vancouver's farm team, the Hamilton Canucks, in the American Hockey League on the ice. On 22 June 1994 he was awarded a contract as a free agent with the Boston Bruins, for whom he played in the next three years in the National Hockey League before he was released to the Los Angeles Kings in August 1997, for which he further two years spent in the NHL.

From 1999 to 2001 Moger ran for the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League before he went after the dissolution of IHL to Europe, where he was first active in the 2001/02 season for Ässät Pori and HIFK Helsinki in the Finnish SM- liiga was before he became German champion in the following season with the Krefeld penguins. He then spent three years at the SERC Wild Wings in the 2nd Bundesliga, before the HC Val Pusteria from the Italian Serie A1 2007 he ended his career after one season.
