Saraqinishta ( Albanian: Saraqinishtë ) is a small village in the municipality of Antigone in the district of Gjirokastra in southern Albania. Saraqinishta lies 726 m above sea level. A. and is located approximately eight kilometers east of Gjirokastra in the hills below the Lunxhëria - mountain ridge, which culminates above the village in a 2156 meter high peak.

Around two kilometers southwest of the village center is the ancient city Antigoneia, which was from King Pyrrhus of Epirus ( 319-272 BC) founded and named after his wife Antigone. In churches and homes in the village tiles and entire columns of Antigoneia were used.

In and around the village there are several Orthodox churches. In Saraqinishta a Nicholas Church (Albanian Kisha e Holy Evangelist Kollit ) is from the 17th century. Also from the 17th century comes the Marienkirche in Spila, an area with caves that were inhabited by hermits, high above the village. Both churches are internally painted with frescoes, are national cultural monuments. Another old church in the village is dedicated to the Assumption.
