Şarkikaraağaç

Şarkikaraağaç is a town and one of 13 counties in the Turkish province of Isparta. The city had 2008 10.473 inhabitants in the year. It is located 150 km northeast of Antalya at an altitude of about 1200 meters above sea level.

Not too far away are three large lakes: 40 km north of Akşehir Lake ( 353 km ²), 16 km south of Beyşehir Lake ( 651 km ²) and 36 km west of the Eğirdir Lake (482 km ²).

Settlements

In addition to the county town are in the county's three municipalities Çarıksaraylar, Çiçekpınar and Göksöğüt and 25 villages Arak, Armutlu, Arslandoğmuş, Aşağıdinek, Başdeğirmen, Belceğiz, Beyköy, Calti, Çavundur, Çeltek, Fakılar, Gedikli, Karayaka, Kıyakdede, Köprü, Muratbağı, Ördekçi, Örenköy, Salur, Sarıkaya, Yakaemir, Yassıbel, Yenicekale, Yeniköy and Yukarıdinek.
