The Sauk Rapids Regional Bridge or informally to distinguish New Sauk Rapids Bridge from the old bridge in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, is a newly built bridge over the Mississippi River in the United States. Construction began on 26 September 2005 and were completed in September 2007. The new bridge was opened on 23 October for the traffic and the official inauguration took place on November 16, 2007. Replaces the previously existing Sauk Rapids Bridge, which is a little way down the river, and has begun its demolition in the fall of 2007.

The new bridge essentially used a steel construction instead of concrete to keep the number of low pillars, which must be in the river. With this solution, additional costs in the amount of 2.3 million U.S. dollars incurred; the total amounts to an estimated 56.63 million, of which 20.46 million U.S. dollars fell to the construction costs. The rest was distributed to the purchase of land, construction of roads and subsidies for businesses that have been relocated as part of the bridge new building.

The new Mississippi River Bridge a birth defect of the previous building is eliminated, which consisted in the fact that the Sauk Rapids Bridge on the east bank of the river behind the BNSF Railway was railway line and so the traffic was often interrupted by the level crossing.

The design of the new road link was disputed between Benton County and the City of Sauk Rapids long and the matter would have been decided almost going to court. The County had demanded that the bridge is only behind the Benton Drive, the main street of Sauk Rapids built, the city administration had feared such a solution would have a negative impact on the businesses in the center. Ultimately, the decision-making power was turned over the project to the city and these opted for the version in which the bridge on the Benton Drive arrives and is connected to the Second Street North.
