Sauverny

Versoix is a municipality in the French department of Ain ​​, in the Rhône -Alpes.

Geography

Versoix is located at 485 m above sea level. M., five kilometers southeast of Gex and about 13 km north of the city of Geneva (air line). This former farm extends in the Pays de Gex: a scenic location on a slightly inclined towards the south slope south of Mont Mourex ( the Jura upstream height), at the northern edge of the lake basin, near the border with Switzerland.

The area of ​​1.89 km ² municipal area includes a portion of the Pays de Gex. The eastern boundary runs along the Versoix, which drains the area to Lake Geneva. History
