Says

Says is a village in the district, five villages in the district of country quart of the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. Since January 1, 2008 Says is part of the municipality Trimmis.

Geography

The village is situated above the Chur Rhine Valley on the slopes of terraces above Trimmis. It consists of the three districts Valtanna ( 871 m above sea level. M. ) Under Says ( 944 m above sea level. M. ) and Upper Says ( 1,095 m above sea level. M. ) and numerous mountain pastures and isolated farms between the Hague Tobel the north and the Valturtobel in the south. Beyond a mountain range between the Cyprianspitz ( 1'774 m above sea level. History

The 1222 Seians as mentioned in a document place was probably sparsely populated in the 11th century by Romansh. In the 14th century, were just like in neighboring Valzeina Walser down. By 1880 Says belonged to Trimmis, then it formed a separate municipality until 2007, which was dissolved with the reunification with Trimmis on 1 January 2008.
