Scarecrow and Mrs. King

Scarecrow and Mrs. King ( Original title: Scarecrow and Mrs. King ) is an American television series that was produced from 1983 to 1987.


In the pilot of the series is Amanda King, a divorced housewife and mother of two sons, enlisted as a freelancer for a small U.S. Secret Service. She works as an agent at the side of Lee Stetson, codename " Scarecrow" (English for scarecrow ), whom she married at the end of the fourth and final season. She always makes every effort to keep their spying activities before her sons and her mother, who lives with her ​​secret. Therefore, she pretends to work for a film production company.

The series reflects the America of the Reagan era and the espionage milieu of the Cold War. The scene is Washington, D.C.
