Scarecrow and Mrs. King
Scarecrow and Mrs. King ( Original title: Scarecrow and Mrs. King ) is an American television series that was produced from 1983 to 1987.
In the pilot of the series is Amanda King, a divorced housewife and mother of two sons, enlisted as a freelancer for a small U.S. Secret Service. She works as an agent at the side of Lee Stetson, codename " Scarecrow" (English for scarecrow ), whom she married at the end of the fourth and final season. She always makes every effort to keep their spying activities before her sons and her mother, who lives with her secret. Therefore, she pretends to work for a film production company.
The series reflects the America of the Reagan era and the espionage milieu of the Cold War. The scene is Washington, D.C. As a result Mysterious eyes you can see a wedding photo of Kathleen Kennedy and William Cavendish, Marquess of Hartington. In a dialogue between Amanda and Lee it claims that they were his parents who lost their lives. His mother, Lee said, would have been English.
17 episodes were not broadcast on German television. Part of the problem will be seen that the actions did not serve the then state of détente with the communist bloc. This is particularly evident in those episodes unsent whose locations were located exclusively in Germany and then in Western Europe. However, other consequences of an action without espionage background were then not sent.
