Scheibe Bergfalke
The disc Bergfalke III is a two-seater glider in composite construction for training and flight performance of the aircraft manufacturer's disc, Dachau.
Construction
The hull consists of a welded timber-framed steel pipe scaffolding, which was viergurtig and dreigurtig in the rear section made and covered the front. The seats are at the same height behind each other and are provided with a one-piece, side fold-away hood. The hull is fitted with bow and CG release. As suspension is a permanently installed central wheel, which is mounted on a skid with a monoshock.
The airfoil structure is classic einholmig designed and shared install. The profile is a mu- profile 14.5%. The tail unit is designed as a self-supporting timber structure. The fins are covered with plywood and the rudder with fabric. The rudder is firmly mounted on the fuselage; the tailplane is removable.
