Scheibe SF 34

The Scheibe SF 34 (Dolphin) is a two-seater glider in GRP construction for training, performance and aerobatic maneuvers in the manufacturer's disk - aircraft, Dachau.

History

When the SF 34 is the first mass- modern plastic construction glider Scheibe, who had set up there on the simpler and easier operation for the club to handle composite construction. Against the competition of other plastic two-seater such as ASK 21 and Twin Astir of the SF -34 not a big commercial success was granted, the production was therefore set in 1987. The French company Centrair manufactured under license under the name Centrair SNC -34 Alliance. The Scheibe Aircraft, which has acquired 25 Falcon for the Scheibe SF also the production rights, the SF offers 34 Dolphin since 2010 again.

Construction

Fuselage and wings are manufactured in plastic construction, the hull the fiberglass shell construction is used.
