Schochen

Schochen North ridge between Big Wild and Höfats

The Schochen is a 2,100 meter high Grasberg in the Allgäu Alps.

Location

It is located east of Oberstdorf, between the head and the little ones laugh Seekopf.

The Vertical separation of Schochens is at least 60 meters, its dominance 800 meters, each of Lachenkopf Reference mountain is.

Ascent

Just below the summit of Schochens runs along the west and south side of the trail from the Edmund- Probst- house for Prinz-Luitpold -Haus. From this the peaks over steep grass and Schrofenhänge not difficult, can be achieved ( slip resistance is required).
