Coat of arms

Blazon: " split from gold and blue, front a green ash leaf with seven leaflets, rear pole, two dashing silver swans. "

Reason: The Shield division builds on the design of the seal of the former municipality Schonwalde, as evidenced since at least 1946 and was apparently created by the 1935 coat of arms of the circle Osthavelland inspired. Both the coat of arms of Osthavellandes as well as the Seal of Schonwalde showed pale, two swans in plunging split plate in the rear box. The swans thus embody the tradition in which the community Schonwalde - ganglia is and refer to their territorial affiliation. The blue of the rear panel indicates the location of the municipality in the water-rich Luch. The gold of the front panel refers to the moraine Ländchen ganglia, whose name comes from the Elbslawischen and "Clay " means. It speaks thus for the second member of the community name " ganglia ". The green ash leaf with seven leaflets symbolizes the community of seven districts in the community. Ash, together with other tree species of Au, breakage and lowland forests rich stocks in Havelländisches Luch, which was historically referred to as Gliener Luch and takes up the largest part of the community. Ash are also popular avenue trees that line some sections of the roads connecting the villages. The blade is talking at the same time for the first member of the borough's name, " Schonwalde ".

The coat of arms was designed by Christian Gering from Schonwalde village. In a plebiscite in February 2004, 43 % of participating citizens of the community for the design unanimously at its meeting of 18 March 2004 approved by the municipal council decided.

The Ministry of the Interior of Brandenburg approved the coat of arms on 29 October 2004.

Coat of arms of districts

The coat of arms of the districts comply with the coat of arms of the former independent communities of the Office Schonwalde - root ganglia ( pairs in ganglia, Pausin, Perwenitz, Schonwalde, Wansdorf ), the former municipality Grünefeld the Office Nauen country. For this reason, districts formed from the former municipality Schonwalde Schonwalde village and Schonwalde settlement run the same coat of arms.

The coat of arms of Green Field was designed by the marketing expert and heraldist Frank Diemar from Erfurt, the coat of arms of the other places by landscape planners and former members of the municipal council Schonwalde, Christian Low. The coat of arms of Schonwalde in 1994 on the basis of seal images from the 1940s re- created. The drawing of the swans died in 2004 comes from the graphic Lutz Lüders from Schonwalde settlement.
