Between 1500 and 1806 Hohenlohe was a part of the Frankish kingdom circle, thus Schrozberg. The present city Schrozberg arose in the course of administrative reform in Baden -Wuerttemberg by several incorporations. On 1 January 1972 Riedbachstraße and Schmalfelden were first incorporated on April 1, followed in 1972 playing Bach. Also the city Bartenstein was on 1 January 1973 then next Leuzendorf incorporated, after which the community Schrozberg was even a town. Yet taken place on January 1, 1974, the incorporation of Ettenhausen.
