Scott Jacoby

Scott Jacoby (* November 26, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actor.

He began his career at the age of eleven, when he next Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé stood in the Broadway musical Golden Rainbow on stage from February 1968 to January 1969. In April 1968 he was nominated for a Tony Award. In April 1970, he participated in the musical Cry For Us All. From 1969 to Jacoby also appeared in films and television productions, including 1971 in the Anderson clan. In 1972 he was awarded for his role in the TV movie Back in the summer on the side of Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen a Primetime Emmy Award. A year later he was (among other things with Patricia Neal, Jean- Pierre Cassel and Britt Ekland, directed by Lionel Jeffries ) for the title role in the feature film, Baxter and stepmother again won an Emmy Award.

The highlight of his career reached Scott Jacoby in 1976 with the presentation of the young people "Mario" in the internationally successful thriller The girl at the end of the road. His later engagements included, among others roles in High School Dreams (1978, Director: Joseph Ruben ) and The Diary of Anne Frank (1980, directed by Boris Sagal ). Here he was next to Melissa Gilbert (as Anne Frank) and Maximilian Schell to see (as Otto Frank) in the role of Peter van Pels. 1986 and 1987 he appeared in the horror films of the horror rebels and Return to Horror High. From 1986 to 1989 he had a recurring supporting role as the son of the series figure " Dorothy Zbornak " in Golden Girls. After 1991, Jacoby came not as a performer, but occasionally as a director and screenwriter in appearance.

Jacoby's half-brothers ( from a later marriage of his mother) Billy Jayne (born 1969 ) and Robert Jayne (born 1973 ) is also an actor. His half-sister Laura Jayne ( born 1974 ) played under the name Laura Jacoby 1979-1991 Children and youth roles in television productions. Scott Jacoby is married since 1985 with his wife, he has two children.
