Melissa Gilbert
Melissa Ellen Gilbert ( born May 8, 1964 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress. She became known for her role in the series Little House, in which she played the Laura Ingalls.
Life
Melissa Gilbert was adopted shortly after birth by the actor - couple Paul Gilbert and Barbara Crane. Even as a small child, she has appeared in various commercials, before it was discovered in 1974 by Michael Landon for the role of Laura Ingalls in Little House.
