Scott Nydam
Scott Nydam ( born April 9, 1977 in Denver, Colorado ) is a former American professional cyclist.
Career
As Nydam - already over 20 years old - participated in a Quadrathlon in New Mexico, he met the road cycling know. From then on, he kept fit by cycling and finally decided to become a professional. Therefore, he announced in January 2006 and began his career at the U.S. Amateur Team Rio Grande Sports garage to contest the race. In his first year he was third in the 2006 stage sixth section of the Cascade Classic and won the mountains classification in the same race.
2007 Nydam professional when then small U.S. Continental team BMC Racing Team, for which he had already retracted his success at the Cascade Classic in 2006. At the Tour de Georgia in 2007 Nydam was seventh in the third stage and was able to occupy the sixth place in the overall standings. He also took on a stage of the Tour de Toona the podium, winning the one-day races Patterson Pass. Later he was with his team even the team time trial at the Giro del Friuli Venezia Giulia and successfully conquered again the mountains classification at the Cascade Classic.
