Scott Timmins
Scott Timmins ( born September 11, 1989 in Hamilton, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League under contract and plays since 2011 in parallel for their farm team San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Career
Scott Timmins began his career as a hockey player with the Burlington Cougars, for which he was active in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Junior Hockey League in the season 2005/ 06. He then played four years in the top junior league Ontario Hockey League, where he stood for the Kitchener Rangers and the Windsor Spitfires on the ice. With the Kitchener Rangers, he won in the 2007/ 08 season the J. Ross Robertson Cup, the championship of the OHL. He could repeat in the seasons 2008/ 09 and 2009/ 10 with the Windsor Spitfires this success, he said with the Spitfires also correspond to the Memorial Cup, the final tournament for the championship of the Canadian Hockey League, won.
During his time in the OHL Timmins has been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2009 in the sixth round as the 165th overall player of the Florida Panthers. For their farm team at that time the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League, he scored in the 2010/11 season in 45 games scored ten and twelve templates. He also ran in 19 games for the Florida Panthers on itself in the National Hockey League, scoring one goal. For the 2011/12 season the Canadians moved to Florida's new AHL farm team San Antonio Rampage.
