Screaming Trees

Screaming Trees were a grunge band, founded in Ellensburg, Washington in 1985. Although much attention from journalists, the band was never commercially as successful as other grunge bands such as Nirvana and Soundgarden.

Band History

With the song Nearly Lost You from the album Sweet Oblivion released in 1992 the band had their first moderate hit. Previously, she had published in 1991 with Chris Cornell ( Soundgarden ) as producers an album called Uncle Anesthesia. The album Dust from 1996 contained with All I know another hit single. Nevertheless, it was decided to suspend the band after the subsequent tour for the time being. After Mark Lanegan in particular with his solo albums became more successful, they were following a concert on June 25, 2000 officially announced the end of the Screaming Trees known.
