Sean Rooney

Sean Michael Rooney ( born November 13, 1982 in Wheaton ( Illinois)) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Rooney arrived at the high school volleyball. From 2002 to 2005 he played in the team from Pepperdine University, with 2005 he won the NCAA championship. He then went to South Korea and was awarded the Hyundai Skywalkers two consecutive national champion. At the same time he played as beach volleyball tournaments some of the AVP Tour and achieved a best result of fifth place. In May 2007, the external attacker made ​​his debut in the U.S. national team, with whom he triumphed in the same year, both in the NORCECA Championship as well as the Pan American Games.
