Second Erhard cabinet

After the parliamentary election 1965 Chancellor Erhard formed his second cabinet. The Cabinet formation was affected by the affair Huyn. A year later came the coalition into a serious crisis. On October 28, 1966, the FDP ministers resigned. Subsequently, the Union nominated on November 10, 1966 Kiesinger a new candidate for chancellor. The new coalition negotiations with the FDP failed. Parts of the FDP in favor of more of a coalition with the SPD. On November 30, 1966 Ludwig Erhard resigned.
