Cursive writing (Chinese行书, Xingshu Pinyin, Jyutping hang4 syu1, Japanese行书Gyosho, Korean: 행서 haengseo, Vietnamese: Thu Hanh行书), also Semi italics, is one of the five main categories of Chinese calligraphy. It is derived from the official script.
A good example are the works of Wang Xizhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
