Serbia national handball team

The Serbian national handball team (Serbian Рукометна репрезентација Србије / Rukometna reprezentacija Srbije ) represents Serbia in international competitions in men's handball and is under the leadership of the Serbian Handball Federation RSS. The team is, from both the International as well as by the European Handball Federation, the direct successor of the Serbian - Montenegrin national handball team, which took as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1993 to 2003, treated. Since 2006, the association is a member of the EHF.

History

In qualifying for the Handball World Cup 2007 in Germany, the team failed in the qualifying play-offs in the Czech Republic. For the World Championships in 2009 and 2011 you could qualify and reached the 8th and 10th place.
