Sergey Volkov (skier)

Sergei Volkov Valeryevich (Russian Сергей Валерьевич Волков; born December 6, 1987 in Tschussowoi ) is a Russian freestyle skiers. He specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines. His older brother Andrei operates the same sport.

Biography

Volkov took from March 2004 onwards part in the European Cup, scoring in January 2005, the first podium. At the Junior World Championship 2006, he was fifth. In March 2008, he scored the first European Cup victory. His debut in the Freestyle World Cup he had on 11 December 2009 at the Finnish Suomu, where he was in the Moguls Competition 21. In December 2010, he entered the first time in the top ten, top places remained but for now rare. On 14 January 2012, he was Mont Gabriel for the first time on the podium of a World Cup petition, as a third party in the discipline Dual Moguls. In Deer Valley 4 February 2012 he achieved his first World Cup victory.
