Serkan Balcı ( born August 22, 1983 in Nazilli, Aydın Province) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Serkan Balcı began his professional career at Gençlerbirliği Ankara in the summer of 2000. Already in his first season won Balcı the end of the season the Turkish Cup. During his three -year stint at Gençlerbirliği he played an important role. For the season 2004 /05 he went to Fenerbahce, was there at first team regular for the first time champion. In the season 2005/ 06 Balcı remained a regular player, this changed in the following season. In 2007 he was for the second time with Fenerbahce champions. He left Fenerbahçe and played from the season 2007/ 08 for Trabzonspor.

After his move to Trabzonspor Balcı was quickly on the position of right-back, a regular player. He showed especially during the period coach Senol Güneş ' significant performance improvements, for which he was again nominated in the cadre of Turkish national team. He was with his club in the season 2009/10 Turkish Cup winners and even the Turkish Supercup winner. With Trabzonspor he led almost the entire 2010/11 season in the league and missed only in the last match day of the standings and ultimately the championship of Fenerbahce.

After Trabzonspor summer 2013 came a significant financially difficult situation Balcı not extended his contract expired. For the upcoming season, he signed with league rivals Antalyaspor.

Serkan Balcı had against Brazil in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2003, his debut for Turkey.
